Dolo Publications features a variety of Spanish, French, German, English, Bilingual and resource materials that blend language learning with the fine arts, especially music, literature, storytelling and theater.

All of our language materials strive to make the learning of any language fun and exciting for students of all ages. Our materials feature original songs and folksongs, unique and innovative games and activities and hilarious short plays.

Our materials are written primarily by author, teacher and composer, Patti Lozano. Mrs. Lozano lives in Houston, Texas where, until recently, she wrote and appeared in an elementary Spanish video series which produced 257 shows over five years. Music That Teaches Spanish! and More Music That Teaches Spanish! and Mighty Mini-Plays for the Spanish Classroom are the result of this show.

Mrs. Lozano, usually with guitar in hand, presents workshops at foreign language, ESL, bilingual and music educator conventions around the country. Her workshops specialize in strategies and techniques for using music, storytelling and theater games as instructional tools in second language classes... "for language that lasts a lifetime!"

The unique use of ELS Skits and English Skits along with Funny ELS Skits, Humorous ESL Skits, Mighty Mini Plays and learning with music makes learning of English as a Second Language truly fun!

We also feature some products by additional authors. Julia Burnier, Lonnie Dai Zovi, Sue Fenton, Steven Langois ("Étienne") and Jorge Medina are teachers/artists that Mrs. Lozano respects and admires, and their materials all espouse the same basic sentiment, which is that learning a language should be fun!
