Accent on Art

Accent on Art is a lovely collection of biographies of 5 Spanish artists and 5 Mexican artists (see list in box below).

Blending history, geography and culture, the readings review the artists' lives and works, and include detailed black and white reproductions of their most famous works.

Also included are supplementary comprehension questions and vocabulary lists that follow each reading, and a supplementary
section that contains, maps, timeline activities, exercises and exams that teachers may use to create comprehensive lessons
that combine communicative skills with art and cultural appreciation.

This book is written entirely in Spanish and is an excellent cultural component for high school and college students.
