Instrumental versions of our best songbooks!

Also known as "performance tracks," these recordings contain the identical orchestration accompaniments as in the regular CDs, but delete all vocal/lyric tracks. This kind of instrumental CD is fun and beneficial for language teachers and learners in many ways, such as:

• The instrumental CDs may be used in performances, so that live musicians are not necessary for full orchestration and the students voices may be heard instead of the voice on the CD.
• In classroom situations, the CDs may be used as evaluation devices. Students are graded as they sing or chant the lyrics aided by the instrumental accompaniment.
• Students may further extend the vocabulary and structural objectives of the songs by creating their own original lyrics to be sung with the instrumental version.
• On fun classroom days, CDs may be used as karaoke recordings for a "classroom cabaret."

IMPORTANT NOTE: The instrumental tracks are only useful when singers are familiar enough with the melodies to sing without the vocals as a guide. We strongly urge you to purchase them in addition to, but not instead of, the standard CD that comes with the songbook.
